Calculate the mean, median, midrange, and mode for the following data set showing the age of students in the class. 23,30,25,88,18,20,31,32,29,24
The mode is the value that occurs the most frequently, there isn't one. The mean is the sum of all the numbers, which is 320, divided by the the number of data, which is 10, 320/10=32 The median is the middle number, not sure about this one but there are two middle numbers 25 and 25. The midrange is the largest number, 88, plus the smallest, 18, divided by 2~ 88+28=106 , 106/2=53 I hope that helped.
