Can someone explain to me how to do this one I did the question but I got it wrong

The order of operations can be remembered as "PEMDAS." First, solve parentheses. There are no parentheses in this expression so we can move on to the next step. The next step is exponents. There are also no exponents, so we can move on. Next is multiplication and division. When doing multiplication and division, be sure to solve from left to right. This means we first solve 5 ÷ 5, then 2 • 7. This means that the expression 5 ÷ 5 - 2 • 7 can also be written as (5 ÷ 5) - (2 • 7). 5 ÷ 5 = 1 2 • 7 = 14 Now we have 1 - 14. All that's left now is the last step- addition and subtraction. If there were multiple cases of adding and subtracting in this expression, we would work from left to right. However, we are left with only 1 instance of adding and subtracting; 1 - 14. 1 - 14 = -13 This is because if you start at 1 on a number line and count left 14, you will end up at -13. The answer to 5 ÷ 5 - 2 • 7 is B. -13. Hope this helps!
