Describe the roles of the three basic branches of government. In most countries, these three branches balance each other by sharing power and monitoring one another. What are the roles of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches?
The Legislative Branch: This branch of government's main focus is to make laws ; that's all the branch really does. Executive Branch: Headed by the President. Direct government, command armed forces, deal with international relations, veto laws. Basically meaning; it's lead by the president and deals with the army, relationships with other country, and have the right to reject or throw out a law. Judicial Branch: Headed by Supreme Court. Main powers are interpreting the constitution, and reviewing laws.
