coduction: when you cook and mix your food with a metal objects it starts to heat up.                   (the transfer of heat particles in a solid) covection: a convection current e.g. a radiator is releasing heat the heat goes up as the particles heat up then they flow and get colder so they get denser and sink then flow back to the radiator to get heat and go back up and so on and on. radiation: a vacuum the transfer of heat in no particles e.g space.
