Well, when the men were out fighting in the war the women needed to step up and complete all the tasks that the men were doing prior to the war. This includes jobs outside the home. Women getting jobs also contributed to the womens movement which lead to more equal rights and the right to vote. Also, women started doing more in the war such as nursing. Hope this helped!!!
