Adding fractions: Make sure the bottom numbers (the denominators) are the same. Then add the top numbers (the numerators). Finally, put the number you just added on top of the denominators. So, 1/8 + 1/8 = 2/8 :) Make sure to put it in simplest form! 2/8 = 1/4 Multiplying fractions:  Simplify the fractions into simplest form. Multiply numerators to get new numerator. Also multiply the denominator to get the new denominator. So, 1/4 x 1/4 = 1/16 Dividing fractions: This one is a bit complicated. So lets say you had 2/3 divided by 3/5. You have to always flip the second fraction. Then it will be 2/3 divided by 5/3. Now all you have to do is multiply and simplify. 2/3 x 5/3 = 10/9. Simplify. 1 1/9. There you go! :)
