We have the expression [latex]8 x^{2} + 10x[/latex], note that both terms have the factor 2x, if we factor this out, we are left with: 2x(4x + 5) If you redistribute it you can see that it equals [latex]8 x^{2} + 10x[/latex] Hope this helps! :)
I think it might be 4x^2 + 5x because if you are factoring by GCM, the GCM in this expression would be 2.
