3 oranges and 15 apples (answer A) there are a total of 18 pieces of fruit... 1/6 are oranges... 1/6 (18) = 18/6 = 3 oranges 5/6 are apples 5/6(18) = 90/6 = 15 apples

we know that 1/6 are oranges therefor, 5/6 are aples 5/6 is 5 times of 1/6 so therefor apples value should be 5 times of the oranges value to test, multiply oranges by 5 and seee if you get apples A. 3 organe and 15 apples 3 times 5=15 correct (test, 3+15=18, 3/18=1/6) B. 1 orange and 6 apples 1 times 5=5 not 6 incorrect C. 15 organes and 3 apples we see that oragnes are greter so this is wrong D. 6 orangles and 1 apple we se that oranges or greater so this is wrong answer is A. 3 oranges ad 15 apples
