In your own words, state the relationship between resistance and current in a circuit.

resistance tends to repel the current  and current is when  the  circuit all lines up and generates power from  the power source to the motor, led, etc...

since resistance opposes the flow of current, they are inversely proportional to each other. as resistance increases, current decreases and vice versa.
