It is a good or bad time for south africans to travel when south africa has a weak rand

It's always better to travel when your currency gets stronger then weaker. Let's say that one day 1 EUR = 15 ZAR (Rands). So if lunch costs 5 EUR, then you pay 75 ZAR. If Rand gets weaker after a week to 20 ZAR = 1EUR, then for the same lunch you will pay 100 ZAR. So it's rather a bad time for South Africans to travel when Rand is weak.
