In this case 10% would be 2.8 We can the double this to get 20%, therefore 20% is 5.6 We need to take this 20% off of the original $28 28-5.6= $22.40 The $2 coupon need to be taken off the price which leaves $20.40 Janet will pay $20.40 for the necklace.
