Try to understand this. Hope this help. Answer for 2 only.

2. Factors of x^2 - 5x + 6 are (x-2)(x-3) so the answer would be 2) (x-2) 4. Factors of x^2 + x - 20. First find the factors of 20. 1, 20; 2, 10, 4, 5. Then find which factors would equal "b" in the equation or in this instance "1". This would be 4 & 5. Since "c" is a negative 20, one of the factors will be a negative. So, the factors of this trinomial are (x-4)(x+5). 6. Factors of n^2 + 3n - 54. First find the factors of 54. 1, 54; 2, 27; 3, 18; 6, 9. Then find which of these factors would equal 3. This would be 6, 9. Since 54 is negative, and 3 is positive, the larger of the two factors will be the positive # and the smaller will be the negative #. So, the factors of this trinomial are (x-6)(x+9).
