You can make both improper fractions so make the left one 17/5 and the right one 7/3. Then you have to get the denominators multiplied to 15 and the 17 and 7 multiply to be 119/15 if you want it mixed it is 6 14/15

3 2/5 * 2 1/3 = 7 14/15 1. Turn mixed numbers into improper fractions - denominator x whole number + numerator, so 3 2/5 turns into 17/5 and 2 1/3 turns into 7/3 2. Multiply numerators and denominators, so 17/5 x 7/3 = 119/15 3. Turn into a mixed number by seeing how much times 15 can go into 119 and that is 7 times. Now, you count how much numbers are left and there is 14 left so that's your numerator and your denominator stays the same as 15 leading us to a answer of 7 14/15 :)
