A cell that does not divide will not: a. form a new organism - this is because all organisms are dependent on cellular division that parent cells go through in the process of mitosis or meiosis.  b. repair damage tissues - that occur in different parts of an organism's body, cell division plays an important role in closing in gaps in wounds or even mending bones that have been broken.  c. become a health organism - abnormalities and mutations in the gene will occur which will cause physical or other character traits that the organism has.
