This is a difficult question, and due to the ambiguous nature of DNA's size it might be said that none of the above answers are correct. Nucleotides themselves are the building blocks of DNA, sections of DNA then combine to form genes, and then about 20,000 pairs of genes are within each chromosome. The closest thing to a correct answer is most likely b) nucleotide, gene, DNA, chromosome but it is debateable whether genes can be said to be smaller than DNA.
