Hey there! If you don't have access to graphing software, you simply need to solve your equation for y using different points. Usually, you'll get a good enough start and can fill the in the rest of the blanks by solving for –2 through +2. If you have pictures of possible graphs, solve for the points that are present on those if the numbers I just gave you aren't on there. y = –x² y = –(–2)² y = –(4) y = –4 y = –x² y = –(–1)² y = –(1) y = –1 y = –x² y = –(0)² y = –0² y = 0 y = –x² y = –(1)² y = –(1) y = –1 y = –x² y = –(2)² y = –(4) y = –4 Your points so far for y = –x² are (–2, –4), (–1, –1), (0, 0), (1, –1), and (2, –4).
