You plan to make cakes. Each cake requires 1 1/4 cup of sugar. You have 7 1/3 cups of sugar. How many cakes can you make?

You can only make 5 cakes. You would divide 7 1/3 by 1 1/4 and you would get 5 13/15. The only whole number is 5 so that is how many cakes you will be able to make.
